Analyse Purchase history and purchase price variations between date ranges
The Purchase Analysis report looks at purchase orders over a user defined period and shows:
- Minimum Cost
- Maximum Cost
- Average Purchase Cost
- Average Delta (Average difference between Min and Max Cost)
This is useful to understand how various products and suppliers' pricing changes over time and will help buyers negotiate better outcomes.
Item Purchase History Favourite
Run the favourite report, select a date range and sort by the Ave Delta column to see the items with the largest price variances in that period.
Drill Down on an Item to see Purchase History
Change Analyse by to Quarter or Month - see the trend over time
